Parties at Justin Bieber’s California mansion are now BYOL — Bring Your Own Lawyer.
The teenage pop star has reportedly made a legal move to muzzle any and
all guests at his parties, as prosecutors continue mulling whether to
file battery charges against him over an alleged dustup with a neighbor.
All visitors to Bieber’s southern California crib must sign a sternly
worded “premises waiver” that threatens a $5 million lawsuit over any
spilled secrets, TMZ.com reported Wednesday.
No John Hancock, no fun with Justin.
The alleged waiver states that “under no circumstances” are guests
allowed to divulge any details about their time at Bieber’s pad though
personal texts, Twitter posts, social media sites, press interviews or
“any media whatsoever.”
All information, photos and videos regarding the pop singer — including
details about his physical health and philosophical and spiritual views
— are considered “confidential, private, secret and sensitive” if one
acquires them while partaking in the good life at his sprawling spread
in Calabasas, Calif., the document obtained by TMZ states.
“It would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to ascertain the
monetary damages that would be caused by your breach of the terms,” the
two-page waiver states. “(You) therefore agree that any breach of (the)
foregoing confidentiality provisions shall be compensated by a payment
of Five Million Dollars.” ... Daily News Reported.
