Shocking: Student Commits Suicide over Ksh 300

A student  committed suicide on Wednesday in Nyamira County - Kisii.

Isaac Ndege, a class six pupil at Mwongori primary school in Borabu District, hang himself after he failed to account for Sh300 from his parents.

Area OCPD Dishon Chadaka said the 13 year – old pupil was given the money to pay for his fees but failed to do so.

“When he was asked why he did not deliver the money to his school, he would not answer and later hang himself in his family’s compound,” Mr Chadaka said.
