Words on the street has it that The Royal Media Services Managing Editor, Peter Opondo is rumoured to be headed for Mediamax.
This is after he was offered a top job at the K24 which is highly associated with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Now this is where things get messy. Remember the many journalists who left Citizen for K24 at the beginning of the year? Well, they did not hand in their resignation letters as they were supposed to. Rumour has it that some slipped their letters under his office door, others even handed theirs along the corridors and stairs.
If the rumours are anything to go by, let's hope Peter Opondo does not hold grudges.
It's alleged that Opondo will report at K24 TV as the general manager in charge of broadcasting on Monday.
He is one man with a lot experience having worked in almost every station in Kenya. We wish him all the best in his new job.
