Morocco advances on penalties 

The game ended in 0-0 after normal time, went into extra time and still came out 0-0. Then in the penalty shoot, Morocco Converted 3 goals while Spain could not find behind the net. Morocco therefore advances to the next round, eliminating Spain on the way 

Portugal (6) Vs Switzerland (1)

Portugal advanced to the last 8 after beating Switzerland 6-1. This is one interesting game that saw Ronaldo benched, one thing that sparked furry among Ronaldo fans. 

The quarter finals games  (the last 8), are to be played on Friday night (9th December 2012).
