Nairobi Kenya: Kethi Kilonzo might be the best suited candidate to win Makueni Senate
seat but as rumoured that law might not be on her side.
After
yesterday's viral rumouR (that she's not a registered voter) which left
her fans in shock although later she disapproved vendettas.
Now another
rumour has services from unconfirmed sources that sh'e not a registered
member of Makueni County and this mighty be the last fate on her
political interest since the law cannot be bend for her people who
really want to vote for her badly.
According to (IEBC) its said that she registered as a voter in Kibera, Nairobi and not Makueni County where she is supposed to have registered. Unconfirmed reports from IEBC coordinator from Lower Eastern, Ruth Kulundo, said she was checking it out with the electoral body in Nairobi since her name was not in the Makueni County voter registry .
The official said according to the latest reports, Kethi registered in Woodley Estate in Kibera Constituency in November last y ear.
Efforts to reach Kethi for comments on Tuesday evening were futile since her phone numbers were not going through. According to IEBC rules one must be a registered voter in the area he or she wants to contest a parliamentary or any elective seat.
So far Kethi has insisted that she
is a registered voter and urged those with queries about her candidature
to meet her at IEBC offices where she will be presenting her papers on Thursday .
