Mahia football club seems to have started the second leg of the 2013
Kenyan Premier League on a right foot. The gods of good luck seems to be
on their side.
A
spot kick goal from Rama Salim in first half and a subsequent goal, from Edwin Lavasta
has given K'ogalo the needed three vital away points and has equally
pushed the club to the third spot of the Kenya Premier League Table. Karuturi sports pulled one back in the second half, but it was not enough to dilute the three points already secured by the milk men.
It was an emotional win for the troubled club whose coach has not resurfaced ever since taking off for mid season break, a way to Croatia. It is rediculed over the social
media that Gor Mahia is the Only club and the first Kenyan Premier
League side to be coached by 'a tourist'...an indication that their
Current Coach, Logarusic operates on a tourist Visa. (He has not yet secured a work permit).
One could not fail to witness all the joy written all over the stand-in coach for today; Bobby Ogolla.
