Nairobi Kenya: It is now clear that there is more that appealed to him in quitting and
rejecting radio Citizen’s offer as sources reveal that he is to get a
very fat pay check, making him one of the highest paid radio presenters
in Kenya.
Mbusi will earn Sh 650 000, more than double of what he earned at Ghetto Radio; Sh 250, 000,
ranking him closer to the likes established radio presenters: Caroline Mutoko, Maina Kageni and Shaffie Weru. The salary is way higher than what established TV journalists get like KTN's Mohammed Ali who earns slightly over half a million.

Having hosted the most listened to afternoon show while at Ghetto Radio,
his new employer hopes he
can bring the same success to Radio Africa as
radio advertising is directly dependent on the presenter and how he
appeals to the audience.
However, Ghafla reported that employees at the station are not happy after details of Mbusi's contract leaked and are now demanding equality since the highest paid presenter was and is still earning Sh 150,000.
More so, it is no known where the hosts of the Drive Show, Diamond Okusimba and Mzee Toldo, will head to as Mbusi will be hosting it.
