Blogger Dennis Itumbi Appointed Director Digital, New Media and Diaspora in the Executive Office of The President

Nairobi Kenya: International award-winning journalist, playwright, blogger and novelist, Dennis Itumbi, has been appointed in the Office of the President. Moments ago, President Uhuru Kenyatta appointed Itumbi as the Director Digital, New Media and Diaspora in the Executive Office of The President (EOP).
In his oath, Itumbi promised to deliver in his new position as he pays allegiance to his appointing authority.
I pledge to lead the path in delivering the Digital Promise and to connect the concerns and ideas of Kenyans in the Diaspora and those on the digital space with Government service and the Presidency, So Help Me God!
Meanwhile, Manoah Esipisu replaces Isaiah Kabira who has been in the Presidential Press Unit. Esipisu now becomes the first ever Secretary of Communication and State House spokesperson. President Uhuru’s longtime spokesman Munyori Buku is the New Director for External Media Relations.
