After what looked like a union with UDA during ANC National Delegates Conference, ANC leader, Musalia Mudavadi has lowered his chances of ever being elected Kenya's President in this year's General Elections, not unless the Deputy President and UDA's leader, Dr. William Ruto shelves his presidential ambition and support him.
But is that even possible?
Many people appear to agree that Mudavadi might have committed political suicide, a reality that will unfold as days go by!
With the planned Joint ANC/UDA/Ford Kenya rallies; starting with Nakuru, then Western and Mt. Kenya, it will be interesting to watch how the joint campaigns will be conducted.
But here are the three sad truths:
- Without Mudavadi in OKA, OKA is heading nowhere. It's an empty shell.
- If Mudavadi wants to be Kenya's President come August 2022, its clear as day and night that he cannot deputize anyone.
- Wetangula has never shown any interest in the Presidency. He just wants to be part of the system. But he is a calculative and eloquent politician. That's an add on.
