Monday
allegations surfaced that veteran comedian Churchill underpays upcoming
comedians under his fledge especially those that appear on Churchill Raw on Thursday, something that has made them contemplate a move to KTN's Kenya Kona. Tuesday however, Churchill Show's producer, Ken Waudo, cleared the air about the accusations.
On the same breath, one of the fast rising comedians on the comedy
show, Chipukeezy, last night came out guns blazing to stand by his boss
over the allegations which he refers to as "madness on the internet".
In a Facebook post on his fan-page, Chipukeezy rubbished the claims and asked the person spreading the 'rumour' to get his facts rights before hitting their keyboard.
He added that no comedian was under pressure to perform since it's a personal choice and if one felt aggrieved, the door is always open. Chipu, advised fellow comedians that it's only hardwork and discipline that will take them somewhere and that running to blogs to whine will do them no good.
