School girls DROP OUT OF KENYAN SCHOOL after getting impregnated by their teachers

Homabay County: – A row is simmering between parents and teachers of the Owich primary school in Lambwe division, Mbita district, in Kenya’s Homa Bay county, over escalating cases of schoolgirls dropping out of the school after allegedly getting impregnated by some amorous teachers.

The situation is so bad that parents have petitioned the government to intervene and deal with the teachers who are cutting the education of their daughters short.

The Homa Bay county is located in Nyanza province, some 396 kilometers from Nairobi- Kenya’s capital city.

Nairobi Kenya: Deputy President William Ruto has lost ownership of a 100-acre contentious piece of land in Uasin Gishu County.

The High Court on Friday ruled that Ruto has failed to provide evidence that he purchased the land belonging to Eldoret farmer Adrian Muteshi.

The court has also ordered the deputy president to pay Muteshi Sh5 million for trespassing on his land and denying him use since 2008.

I conclusively find that Muteshi is the owner of the land,” Rose Ougo said in her ruling.
“The evidence before me it’s clear that there were fraudulently activities in the manner the land was subdivided and sold.”

Nairobi Kenya: Wiper’s Makueni Senate by-election candidate, Kethi Kilonzo, has told Capital FM News that she is a registered voter in Nairobi’s Lang’ata constituency.

Kethi’s revelation follows Wiper Democratic Movement Chairman David Musila’s confession that while Kethi is registered to vote, she is not registered to vote in Makueni County.

Musila was however quick to point out that whereas the Election Act stipulates that parliamentary contenders be registered to vote, it does not specify where they should be registered.

“I think TNA went to check the register at Makueni but the law just says you have to be a registered voter; not in a specific place,” he said on Wednesday.

“In fact she has showed me her voter’s card. I have no reason to doubt her,” Musila had told Capital FM News on Tuesday once questions emerged over Kethi’s registration status.
