Good News: Customers to enjoy unlimited internet bundles on Airtel

Nairobi Kenya: Airtel Kenya has today announced the return of unlimited internet bundles to all its pre-paid customers in the country.

The daily unlimited bundle will now cost Kshs. 250,the weekly unlimited bundle will cost Kshs. 1299 while the monthly unlimited bundle will cost Kshs. 3,500.Amount of data downloaded on the daily unlimited package is set at 3GB, 15GB on the weekly unlimited and30GB on the monthly unlimited.

Access to the internet has become universal and essential for all people and offering affordable and quality internet access is key to enabling our customers achieve more in their daily lives,for  both personal and business development.

Southamptom Offers Shs1.3Billion to Celtic for Signing of Victor Wanyama

Southampton have agreed a Sh 1.3 billion (£10million) fee with Celtic for Kenyan midfielder Victor Wanyama but the player says he is yet to agree personal terms with the English club which will make him the first Kenyan to play in the English Premier League.

Wanyama, who is on holiday until July 10, says he has not been contacted by Southampton but alluded to the fact that the club has severally tried to get his signature.

“I am on holiday, I am only hearing this from the media but I can say the deal is far from being complete. Yes, my club has agreed terms with Southampton, but I will also have to agree to terms before I consider myself a Saint,” said Wanyama who was recently installed as captain of Kenya national football team.

According to a report on British newspaper Daily Mail, Southampton made a bid that Scottish side has accepted and what remains is for the player to agree terms and move to the lucrative English Premier League.

Kenya's First Daughter Turns 23 This Weekend

First daughter Ngina Kenyatta will on Sunday cross another milestone in her life, as she celebrates her 23rd birthday.

Until Uhuru's election as president, Ngina was little known, but has of late been in the limelight, recent being her involvement in the fight against jiggers in Murang'a. Still, little is known about her and her siblings, but it should only be a matter of time.

Kenyan actor Lupita Nyong'o is playing a supporting role in an upcoming movie, "12 Years a Slave".

The film is set for release in December, and will feature acclaimed actors such as Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch (Star Trek Into Darkness, Sherlock) and Michael Fassbender (Prometheus, X Men)
It is based on a true story of a man living in New York in the mid- 1800s who was kidnapped and sold into slavery in the Deep South.
